We have now finished our prototype program and have manufactured the first production unit of 6. The system can be calibrated from 0 to 300lbs as shown and can be reprogrammed to weights up to 5000lbs to support weights from the smallest to the heavy weight UAV's. Please see all our pictures and videos below.

In the video below the speed of the scale needs to be noted. The sample rate and digital filtering can be adjusted to slow down the unit. The specification of being used in wind; the unit can be used in wind, however the sample rate and filter will determine the end weight result through quick step averaging. The position of the aircraft must be considered, its weight and take of airspeed, if faced into a 20kt wind the wing will start the lift process, the scale will weigh the aircraft, however there will be some weight taken off the main wheels and moved to the wings. Cross wind can result in side loads as well as tail winds can result in nose wheel loading. The scale will detect these changes and display the actual weight that the scale is seeing. It would be necessary to develop a process to only face the aircraft into the wind during weighing, and through testing, determine a weight to airspeed chart to determine the weight loss per knot of wind speed.
